Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 27, 2026

This page is maintained by the Stickylink team to explain what information we collect and how we use it. We aim to collect as little as possible. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us using the information at the end of this page.

1. What we mean by “personal information”

“Personal information” means any information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked to you. This includes your email address, account details, shipping address, and the content you choose to attach to a Stickylink sticker.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: email address, display name, and authentication data when you create an account. We also collect your chosen profile details so you can manage your stickers across devices.
  • Sticker content: links, notes, checklists, images, PDFs, and music or video links you attach to a sticker. Remember that anyone who scans a sticker can view whatever you attach to it, so please do not attach information you want to keep private. Do not upload passwords, government IDs, financial account numbers, social security numbers, health records, or any other sensitive personal or confidential information.
  • Order and payment information: shipping address, order status, and Stripe transaction identifiers when you purchase a sticker roll or Stickylink Pro subscription. We do not store your full payment card number; Stripe processes that directly.
  • Planner content (Planner purchasers only): tasks, calendar events, habits, meals, recipes, grocery lists, journal entries, and symptom notes you save in the Stickylink Planner. This content is private to your account and is never shown to sticker scanners unless you deliberately point a sticker at a planner page. Recipe imports may send a URL or an uploaded file to our AI provider purely to extract the recipe, and the extracted draft is shown to you before anything is saved.
  • Technical and usage data: browser type, device type, approximate location, IP address, and error logs. We use this to keep the app secure, diagnose problems, and understand broad usage trends.

Business accounts are covered by tier-specific policies: Small Business privacy, Workspace privacy, and Supply privacy.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to provide and improve Stickylink, deliver your physical orders, process subscription renewals, protect your account, and respond to your support requests. Specifically, we use your data to:

  • Display your stickers to anyone who scans the QR code.
  • Show your saved sticker library when you sign in.
  • Process and ship sticker-roll orders.
  • Manage free and Pro subscription entitlements.
  • Detect abuse, fraud, and security issues.
  • Communicate important updates about your account or orders.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with service providers who help us run Stickylink, and only when necessary:

  • Stripe: processes payments, subscriptions, and order-related transactions.
  • Cloud/hosting provider: hosts the Stickylink application and database.
  • Email and notification services: send order confirmations, shipping updates, and account notifications once a verified sender domain is configured.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or to respond to a valid legal request.

5. Sticker visibility

Stickylink stickers are designed to be scanned by anyone. The QR code printed on a sticker encodes a unique link. When someone scans that link, they see the content you have attached. This is a core feature of the product, so please only attach content you are comfortable sharing publicly.

Unclaimed stickers are editable by anyone who scans them until they are claimed. Once claimed, only the owning account can edit or clear the sticker content.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use only the cookies and local storage required to keep you signed in, remember your session preferences, and run essential app features. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Data retention

We keep your account information and sticker content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete a sticker, we remove its attached content from our active database within a reasonable time. Order records are retained for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes.

8. Security

We protect Stickylink with industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections, access controls, and database row-level security. However, no online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You can help keep your account safe by using a strong, unique password and keeping your login credentials private.

9. Your choices and rights

You can edit or delete any sticker from your library, update your account profile, and cancel your Pro subscription at any time. You may also request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Please note that some information may be retained for legal or business reasons.

10. Children's privacy

Stickylink is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us so we can delete it.

11. International users

Stickylink is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “last updated” date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
