What is Stickylink Supply?
Stickylink Supply is retrofit infrastructure for GS1 Digital Link. You order overlay label rolls, activate them against your GTINs in batches, and every scan resolves through our resolver to a product page you control, with scan analytics behind it.
What is Sunrise 2027 and does it apply to me?
Sunrise 2027 is the industry-wide target for retailers being able to scan two-dimensional barcodes at the point of sale alongside traditional linear barcodes. If you sell physical goods through retail channels, your trading partners will expect your products to carry a scannable, resolvable identifier well before the deadline rather than on it.
Do I have to reprint my packaging?
No, that is the point of a retrofit. Overlay labels apply to inventory that is already printed, already packed, or already sitting in the channel. You update the resolver destination later without touching the physical goods again.
What does the GS1 Digital Link syntax actually encode?
A path segment for the GTIN, plus optional segments for batch or lot, serial number, and expiry. Because the identifier is expressed as a URL, additional context can travel as query parameters without breaking the identifier for scanners that only read the GTIN.
Do you validate check digits?
Yes. Every GTIN-14 is validated with a mod-10 check digit calculation before a batch is generated, so typos in a product master are caught before anything is printed rather than after.
How does batch activation work?
Each roll ships with a master batch code. An admin enters that code once in the Supply dashboard, maps the roll to a GTIN and optional lot, and every code in the roll becomes live at the same moment. Codes stay inert until activation, so a lost roll is not a live roll.
What does it cost?
Rolls are $35 each at standard volume and $25 each at bundle volume, plus $149 per month for a management seat covering batch generation, the resolver, scan analytics, and CSV export. Bundles run from 10 rolls of 250 at $250 up to 20 rolls of 1000 at $1,000.
What scan data do you collect?
Timestamp, coarse geolocation derived from IP, user agent, and the code that was scanned. We do not collect shopper identity, and scan records are used for your analytics, recall response, and business records. The Supply privacy page has the full detail.
Can I host product pages for my SKUs?
Yes. Each organisation can publish up to 100 product pages included with the management seat, covering verification status, provenance, handling, and allergen or ingredient content. Beyond 100 pages there is an additional $50 per month tier.
Can I use this for regulated pharmaceutical serialisation?
Not today. Supply is built for commercial distribution and retail readiness. It is not an accredited serialisation or track-and-trace system, and the Terms prohibit using it for protected health information, payment card data, or export-controlled data.
