Terms of Service

Last updated: August 13, 2026

This page is maintained by the Stickylink team to describe how our product and services work. By accessing or using Stickylink, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time, and the latest version will always be available on this page.

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Stickylink website, QR stickers, mobile and web app features, and any related services (collectively, “Stickylink” or the “Service”). By creating an account, scanning a sticker, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Using Stickylink

Stickylink lets you create digital canvases by attaching links, checklists, photos, PDFs, and other content to unique QR stickers. Anyone with a physical sticker can scan it to view the attached content. You may use Stickylink to:

  • Scan and view any Stickylink sticker.
  • Claim an unclaimed sticker and attach your own content.
  • Create an optional account to save stickers to your personal library.
  • Upgrade to Stickylink Pro for unlimited uploads per sticker.

3. Accounts and security

An account is optional for viewing or claiming a sticker, but required to save stickers to your library. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of any content you attach to a sticker. By attaching content, you give us the permission we need to store, display, and transmit it to anyone who scans the sticker. You are solely responsible for the content you attach and for ensuring it is lawful, accurate, and appropriate for anyone who may scan it. Do not attach private information, passwords, government documents, financial account details, social security numbers, health records, or any other sensitive personal or confidential data to a sticker. Stickylink is not designed or intended to store highly sensitive information.

5. Plans, add-ons, and billing

Free. Unlimited stickers, unlimited links and checklists, and one photo or one PDF per sticker. No card required, no expiry.

Pro, $4.99 per month. Unlimited photo and PDF uploads per sticker. Pro renews automatically each month until you cancel. Cancelling keeps Pro active until the end of the current billing period, after which the account returns to Free limits. Existing uploads stay viewable, but you will not be able to add new ones beyond the Free cap until you resubscribe.

Planner, $30 one time. A single lifetime purchase that unlocks the Stickylink Planner (tasks, calendar, habits, meals, recipes, journal, symptoms, and AI suggestions) for your account, and lets you point a sticker at any planner tab. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Because it is digital and delivered immediately, planner purchases are refundable within 14 days only if the planner has not been used.

Business tiers. Stickylink for Small Business, Stickylink Workspace (Free Workspace, Secure Workspace, Document Suite), and Stickylink Supply are governed by their own terms at /small-business/terms, /workspace/terms, and /supply/terms. Where those terms conflict with this page for a business account, the tier-specific terms control.

Subscription upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated by our payment processor. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the paid period. Prices may change with notice; a price change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

6. Physical sticker orders

Sticker rolls are sold at the price listed at checkout (currently $23 for a roll of 60 unique stickers). Shipping costs and delivery times are shown at checkout. Once shipped, the codes on the stickers are yours to use. We do not refund physical stickers that have already been scanned, claimed, or used.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders for suspected fraud, inventory issues, or violation of these Terms.

7. Prohibited uses

You may not use Stickylink to distribute malware, illegal content, harassment, hate speech, spam, or content that violates the rights of others. You may not attempt to reverse engineer, abuse, or overload the service, or access stickers or accounts that do not belong to you. We may remove content, suspend accounts, or terminate access for violations of these rules.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data. All traffic is served over HTTPS/TLS, and your data is encrypted at rest by our infrastructure provider. Photos, PDFs, and other uploads are stored in private buckets and delivered through short-lived signed links rather than public URLs. Database access is enforced with row-level rules so one account cannot read another account's private records. Editing a sticker requires the claim code printed with it, so simply scanning a sticker never grants anyone the ability to change your canvas. Payments are handled entirely by our PCI-compliant payment processor, and we never see or store your card number.

No system is perfectly secure, and anything you attach to a sticker can be viewed by anyone who scans that sticker. Please do not store sensitive personal, medical, financial, or confidential information in Stickylink. If you believe you have found a security issue, email us at hello@stickylink.io.

9. Intellectual property

Stickylink, the Stickylink name, logo, cloud logo, and brand assets are owned by us or licensed to us. You may not use our trademarks or branding without our prior written permission. You may not reproduce, modify, or resell Stickylink QR codes or sticker designs except as part of a legitimate Stickylink sticker roll order.

10. Termination

You may stop using Stickylink at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we need to discontinue the service. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends, but provisions related to content, liability, and governing law will survive.

11. Disclaimers

Stickylink is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do our best to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, that stickers will always be scannable, or that any content will be preserved indefinitely. Because anyone with a sticker can scan it, we cannot control who views the content you attach.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stickylink and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stickylink from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “last updated” date. Your continued use of Stickylink after changes means you accept the revised terms.

16. Contact
