Merchant FAQ

Everything you might wonder about running Stickylink at your shop, pop-up, or studio.

What is Stickylink for Small Business?

It's a merchant version of Stickylink built for makers, boutique shops, pop-up sellers, and small storefronts. Each QR sticker maps to a product in your inventory so you (and your customers) can scan a tag to see the price, stock, and product info, and you can log sales straight from your phone.

How is it different from the regular Stickylink?

Regular Stickylink is for personal use: attach links, checklists, and photos to a sticker. Small Business adds a merchant dashboard, product/SKU mapping, a live sales log, and Excel export for your accounting.

What comes in the Starter Roll?

200 unique QR stickers on a durable, water-resistant liner for $35. Each sticker has its own code you can map to any product in your dashboard. The merchant dashboard is included, no subscription.

Is there a monthly fee?

No. One flat $35 gets you 200 stickers and full access to the merchant dashboard: unlimited product mapping, the real-time ledger, Excel export, and batch tools. When you want more stickers, order another Starter Roll.

Do my customers need an account to scan a tag?

No. Anyone can scan a customer-facing tag and see the product info you've published. Only signed-in merchants see the full SKU, stock levels, and 'Mark sold' controls.

Can I re-use stickers if a product sells out?

Yes. From the dashboard you can re-map any sticker to a new product, so a roll can outlive individual items in your catalog.

Does this replace my POS (Square, Shopify, etc.)?

No, Stickylink is meant to sit alongside your POS. It replaces handwritten price tags, memory-based pricing at pop-ups, and manual Excel inventory tracking. You still take payment in your existing POS app.

Can I export my ledger?

Yes. The dashboard has an Excel export so you can bring your sale data into your own bookkeeping workflow.

Do I need special hardware or a label printer?

No. The stickers ship ready to apply, no $200+ label maker required. You just peel and stick.

What if I stop using Stickylink for a while?

Your account, products, and ledger history stay put. Any physical stickers you've already claimed keep working. Come back whenever, no cancellation, no billing to worry about.

Are there any other tiers or hidden fees?

No. Small Business is a single flat $35 per 200-sticker Starter Roll, plus shipping and tax at checkout. There is no monthly fee, no per-product fee, no transaction cut on the sales you log, and no seat charge for staff who scan tags.

How fast does the live dashboard update?

The live tracker updates within a few seconds of a sale being logged, and the Excel view refreshes about every ten seconds and whenever you return to the tab. The Excel export contains the same product and sale data you see on screen, without scan noise.

Can staff use it without an account?

Customers scanning a public tag never need an account. Anyone who marks items sold, edits stock, or sees SKU-level detail must be signed in to your merchant account, so the ledger always records who did what.

Can it warn me when something is running low?

Yes. Set a low-stock threshold on a product and the dashboard flags it when the count drops. Stickers can also carry a stock alert control so whoever is at the shelf can tap Low, Critical, or Out of stock without counting.

How do I assign 200 stickers without losing my mind?

The assignment panel is searchable. Type part of a code or product name, click a code to assign it, or use Assign all matches to map a whole batch of codes to one product at once.

Do I need Stickylink Workspace or Supply as well?

Only if your needs change. Workspace is for internal asset records, audit logs, and controlled documents. Supply is for GS1 Digital Link retrofit labelling on products headed into retail channels. For a shop or a market stall, Small Business on its own is the right fit.

How do refunds and shipping work?

Rolls ship within a few business days with tracking. Unopened rolls can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund. Rolls with codes that have already been claimed or scanned cannot be refunded, because those codes are live on your account.
